# Codex app

> Add the Pumati MCP server to Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app.

Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app shares its MCP configuration with the [Codex CLI](https://pumati.app/zh-Hans/developers/clients/codex-cli.md) on the same computer: a server added there is already here. To add it in the app:

## Setup

1. Open **Settings → MCP servers** and select **Add server**.
2. Name it `pumati`, choose **Streamable HTTP** and enter this URL. Save, then select **Restart**.

   ```
   https://mcp.pumati.app/mcp
   ```
3. Select **Authenticate** next to pumati and sign in at pumati.app.

A Pumati plugin you added in [ChatGPT](https://pumati.app/zh-Hans/developers/clients/chatgpt.md) also works in Codex in the desktop app.

> **Needs an MCP plan**

> Connecting an agent needs an Indie or Team plan ([subscription](https://pumati.app/zh-Hans/developers/subscription.md)). Choose one at [pumati.app/dev/credits](https://pumati.app/dev/credits).

## Try it

Once connected, ask your agent:

```text
List my Pumati apps and what this connection is allowed to do.
```

```text
Draft a 10-minute Pumati test of our onboarding flow with 5 testers on the latest build. Show me the cost before publishing.
```

```text
Check my Pumati tests for new feedback and summarize the problems testers found, in their own words.
```
