# ChatGPT desktop and web

> Add Pumati to ChatGPT on the web or in the desktop app as a custom MCP server.

Add Pumati as a custom MCP server in ChatGPT's Plugins. Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app can use the plugin too.

## Setup

1. Open **Plugins**, select the plus button, then **Add custom MCP server**.

   [Open ChatGPT plugins](https://chatgpt.com/plugins)
2. Name it `Pumati`, enter this server URL and choose **OAuth** for authentication. Review the warning, then select **Create as a plugin**.

   ```
   https://mcp.pumati.app/mcp
   ```
3. Install Pumati from your personal plugins and sign in at pumati.app when ChatGPT asks you to connect. In a chat, type `@` and pick Pumati.

If your account shows **Apps** instead of **Plugins**, it has the earlier interface: turn on **developer mode** in ChatGPT's settings, then create an app with the same URL and OAuth.

> **Plans and workspaces**
>
> Whether you can add a custom MCP server depends on your ChatGPT plan, and in a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace on what your admin allows. OpenAI's help is the reference for menu names and conditions: [Connect and test your plugin](https://developers.openai.com/apps-sdk/deploy/connect-chatgpt), [Developer mode and MCP apps in ChatGPT](https://help.openai.com/en/articles/12584461-developer-mode-and-mcp-apps-in-chatgpt) (checked October 2026).

> **Needs an MCP plan**
>
> Connecting an agent needs an Indie or Team plan ([subscription](https://pumati.app/zh-Hant/developers/subscription.md)). Choose one at [pumati.app/dev/credits](https://pumati.app/dev/credits).

## Try it

Once connected, ask your agent:

```text
List my Pumati apps and what this connection is allowed to do.
```

```text
Draft a 10-minute Pumati test of our onboarding flow with 5 testers on the latest build. Show me the cost before publishing.
```

```text
Check my Pumati tests for new feedback and summarize the problems testers found, in their own words.
```
